Stressa is the main railway Milano - Simplon - Geneve - Paris.
The train station is at a walking distance from most of the hotels. Taxis are usually available
outside the train station.

From Switzerland: Swiss highway nr. 2 from Basel to Lugano, through the tunnel of the Gottardo. Take the exit south to Bellinzona follow the signs for Lake Maggiore.
